Research and networking expertise

Two security departments within the Siemens Corporate Technology division, each one of about 35 researchers, will be taking part in NESSoS: CT IC3 works on a broad spectrum of security topics, covering mostly topics in design and architecture or issues in cryptography. It is among the few industrial groups utilising formal methods for the validation of industrial-scale security-sensitive applications. CT IC CERT works mostly on implementation-related issues, hardening of products and solutions, infrastructure security, malware analysis, process consulting, secure coding, and secure web applications.
